About:

My research is in the fields of climatology and meteorology, specifically in Tropical South America and the Tropical Andes. Currently, my research focuses in: i) studying the drivers and teleconnections of precipitation in the Tropical Andes, ii) mountain meteorology in elevational gradients, understand how climate and weather change with altitude and the phenomena related to these differences, and iii) reference evapotranspiration (ETo), different calculation method, error sources, and alternative solutions.

Research:

Research Assistant in the project “Ciclos meteorológicos y evapotranspiración a lo largo de una gradiente altitudinal del Parque Nacional Cajas”. September 2013 – August 2017.

PhD candidate in the project “High-resolution radar analysis of precipitation extremes in Ecuador and north Peru and implications of the ENSO-dynamics”. October 2019 – Present.
