About:
I am working at the edge of natural and computer sciences. My research interests are related to (i) the application of artificial intelligence for modeling and optimization processes in the natural sciences such as precipitation and discharge forecasting; (ii) the comprehension of rainfall formation processes at different spatiotemporal scales, from rainfall microphysics to storm tracking; (iii) methods for image processing and computer vision for big data.
Currently, I am focus on the Monitoring of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), food-water nexus by using artificial intelligence techniques and socio-environmental information systems for decision making.
